The BN Thermic T16R Optional IP65 Remote Sensor is specifically designed for use with BN Thermic’s T16C touch screen thermostats. This surface-mount wall sensor comes with a 3-metre lead and is rated IP65, making it suitable for installation in damp areas, such as bathrooms.
Ideal for enhancing the control of underfloor heating systems, the T16R sensor is commonly used when the T16C thermostat is installed outside the bathroom. The T16C thermostat includes a floor sensor that needs to be installed under the bathroom floor and connected to the thermostat's terminal block.
By adding the T16R sensor, you enable the thermostat to monitor the air temperature within the bathroom, ensuring optimal comfort. When wired to a T16C thermostat, the T16R sensor bypasses the thermostat's built-in air sensor, providing more accurate temperature control.
