This Definity 1 gang double pole switch offers reliable circuit isolation for commercial and domestic settings. Featuring a 20A resistive load rating and IP20 ingress protection, it ensures safe operation. The unit includes a neon indicator for status visibility, a polished chrome finish with black insert, screwless design, and complies with BS EN 60669-1. Compatible with 35mm back boxes and supports twin earth termination.
The face plates are supplied independently of the electrical inserts which allows the initial installation of the product to be carried out and any susbsequent maintenance or decoration to be completed before the final selection and fixing of the face plates. This means there is a much greater degree of flexibility in timing the installation of the inserts. The Definity inserts also come in a choice of finishes. Furthermore should subsequent interior design change or re-decorating dictates that a different colour accessory is required, replacement plates can be sourced individually and fitted without the need for any special tools or electrical skill.
