This unit provides a secure fused connection and isolation for electrical appliances in residential or commercial settings. Featuring a 13A double pole switch and a front-mounted 10 mm flex outlet, it operates at 250V AC. The screwless polished chrome (black) finish offers a sleek profile at 86 x 86 mm and IP20 rating. Certified to BS 1363-4 and BS 1362, it requires a minimum 35 mm back box and includes twin earth terminals.
The face plates are supplied independently of the electrical inserts which allows the initial installation of the product to be carried out and any susbsequent maintenance or decoration to be completed before the final selection and fixing of the face plates. This means there is a much greater degree of flexibility in timing the installation of the inserts. The Definity inserts also come in a choice of finishes. Furthermore should subsequent interior design change or re-decorating dictates that a different colour accessory is required, replacement plates can be sourced individually and fitted without the need for any special tools or electrical skill.
