Click Scolmore’s Mode Part M range features a dark anthracite grey plate with contrasting white rockers and sockets to comply with Part M of the building regulations. Like the Click Mode range, all Part M wiring accessories are manufactured using urea formaldehyde and are therefore antimicrobial certified.
The new Click Scolmore Mode USB sockets support both Type A and Type C charging. The Type A outlet offers up to 2.4A charging (when used on it’s own) and the Type C port allows up to 3A. When both ports are in use, the 4.2A charge is shared, with priority given to the Type C output to it’s full potential output of 3A. The Type A charge is then reduced to 1.2A.
The Type C USB sockets feature Scolmore’s new Safety Shutters for added security and reassurance. The shutters will only fully open when all three BS 1363 plug-top pins engage correctly with the shutter. Inserting the earth pin alone will not open the live and neutral shutters like conventional socket shutters.
