A Guide to Our Delivery Charges

Orders over £100 - FREE DELIVERY*

*A small number of larger items will require a pallet charge and this is stated clearly on the product page for those items. There is a carriage paid order value, which if reached will mean you still get FREE delivery, this will be be stated on the product pages also.

Next Day Delivery

Orders which only contain stocked products and are placed before 2pm Monday - Thursday will be sent on an express 24 hour service. Please note this will be extended to the next business day if placing an order after 2pm on a Thursday or if the next business day is a bank holiday. Our team will do our very best to ensure your order is sent the same day but please be aware on busier shopping days this may be extended by an extra day.

We stock over 2000 products at our distribution centre and many more we buy direct from suppliers, you can check each product page on our store for the most up to date ETA for your convenience. All stocked items if ordered before 2pm will be dispatched same day on a next working day service. Items with an ETA longer than Next Day Delivery will typically be ordered directly from the supplier to fulfil your order. If your order contains a mixture of in-stock and non-stocked items your order will be despatched once all items are available to be shipped.

Please note: some larger items will need to be sent on a 48 large service, which is noted on the product page.

Pressed for Time

If you are on a tight deadline for parts, we would always advise you call ahead if you are purchasing items that are not currently in stock, to ensure we can meet your deadline, as lead times on products pages are estimated based on our usual delivery time for that item.

Also, if you are buying for your own home, we ask that you only book your electrician in to do work once you have everything you need in hand. If suppliers advise of delays out of our control, we will do everything in our power to source your items elsewhere but we cannot guarantee delivery in time for non-stocked items.

Hours of Operation

Our warehouse team operates Monday - Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm.

Our store is closed on Bank Holidays so this will delay estimated delivery times by 1 business day.

Couriers

Please click the relevant courier if you would like to check any current courier delays, you will also be provided with a tracking number for your order once it has been shipped. Please note you may receive the tracking number before the courier has collected the parcel from us, so if it shows no tracking information just yet, please try again after 5pm once all parcels have been collected from our distribution centre.

Please note: If you have ordered after 2pm your tracking may not update till the courier collects the following day.

In the event your items are shipped direct from one of our suppliers, we aren't always able to offer a tracking number unfortunately, but you can give us a call on 01424 220384 if you would like us to contact the supplier for delivery updates. Please note we will only be able to do this once you've received your email to confirm your item has been shipped.

Pallet Delivery

Pallet charges may apply for some bulk items, as stated on the product page. Please note this is a roadside delivery only, so you will need to have suitable access at your property for a pallet truck as well as somewhere suitable for the pallet to be delivered. The delivery drivers will not be able to offload the contents of your pallet, so please ensure you arrange for assistance if ordering heaters/radiators for example that are difficult to lift. Please note that our standard pallet delivery is 48 hours.

If your order was delayed you may qualify for compensation, unfortunately you can only claim under the following circumstances:

Compensation Arrangements

Royal Mail may pay compensation to the sender or the addressee of a delayed item posted using products under this scheme where it has not delivered or attempted to deliver the item:

  • Three or more working days after the due date except where an item is redirected, using the Royal Mail Redirection Service;
  • Six or more working days after the due date for items redirected using the Royal Mail Redirection Service;
  • 24 or more hours after the due date for Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed by 1pm® items (not posted on account);
    • may also be eligible for substantial delay compensation if the item has not been delivered or an attempt made to deliver: 
  • Seven or more working days after the due date.

Compensation Arrangements

Parcelforce will not provide compensation to our customers, only to ourselves as we purchase the deliveries. We will always endeavour to send out replacements for lost deliveries once parcelforce confirm proof of delivery cannot be provided and the parcel is marked as missing.
