The Elkay Ceiling Mount PIR Occupancy Sensor 10A White - 374B-1 is a state-of-the-art energy-saving device designed to control electrical loads based on the presence or absence of occupants. This compact PIR timer unit is engineered for both surface and flush ceiling mounting and includes spring fixing arms and a surface box for quick and easy installation. As one of the smallest and most discreet units available, it provides a reliable, fit-and-forget solution.
The sensor detects moving infra-red, such as body heat, to activate a load or appliance for a specified time period. An internal light sensor ensures the load remains off when ambient light is sufficient, enhancing energy-saving potential.
A red indicator LED signals when timing has been re-triggered and when the unit is in its final minute of countdown. The time control is adjustable from 2 minutes to 1 hour. The unit also features a white and chrome bezel for easy access to timing, lux, and sensitivity controls without removing it from the ceiling. For flush mounting, only a 64 mm cut-out is required.
