The Eaton DOL (Direct On-Line) Starter is a robust and reliable solution for motor control applications up to 7.5 kW at 400V AC. Designed to comply with IEE Regulations, 16th Edition on Isolation and Switching, this starter is ideal for various industrial and commercial applications. The unit is housed in an IP55 sheet steel enclosure, ensuring durability and protection against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for harsh environments.

Key components of the Eaton DOL Starter include an AC-3 rated triple pole contactor with IP20 terminals and a triple pole AC-3 rated switch disconnector, also with IP20 terminals. The disconnector features provision for up to three padlocks, ensuring secure isolation during maintenance. The unit is equipped with an IP65 rated mushroom-headed 'Stop' pushbutton for emergency stops and an IP65 flush operator 'Start' pushbutton, both offering reliable operation with IP20 terminal protection.

This starter is pre-wired to accept Eaton Z00 or ZB thermal overloads, which provide single phasing sensitivity to IEC 947-4 standards. However, the overload relay is not supplied and must be ordered separately. The enclosure is fitted with four 20mm and two 25mm knockouts for easy cable entry.
