This fused connection unit offers reliable appliance protection and isolation with a double pole switch and red neon indicator. Featuring a screwless, brushed stainless finish (black insert), it is rated at 13A, 250V AC, 50Hz and complies with BS 1363-4 and BS 1362 standards. The compact 86 x 86 x 4 mm design suits both domestic and commercial applications, providing IP20 ingress protection and secure screw terminal connections.
The face plates are supplied independently of the electrical inserts which allows the initial installation of the product to be carried out and any susbsequent maintenance or decoration to be completed before the final selection and fixing of the face plates. This means there is a much greater degree of flexibility in timing the installation of the inserts. The Definity inserts also come in a choice of finishes. Furthermore should subsequent interior design change or re-decorating dictates that a different colour accessory is required, replacement plates can be sourced individually and fitted without the need for any special tools or electrical skill.
